All The Bright Places - Book Review

'All The Bright Places' - you might know it as another one of Netflix movies but how many of you know that this is a masterpiece of a book by Jennifer Niven.

Let me tell you, if you haven't read the book and watched the movie, please read it. Please. If you have both watched the movie and read the book, you obviously love the book more. If you haven't watched the movie and only read the book, my friend, you are the happiest right now, believe me.

I, personally, don't like the movie so much because they have missed out on lots of characters and very important. The things that attracted me the most in the book aren't even mentioned in the movie. So the movie for me is a bust but if you haven't read the book, you'll love the movie too.

Anyway, this review isn't about the movie. It's about the book!

Let's get started!!!

The book is a dual narrative and involves a very sensitive topic of bipolar disorder and suicide. It touches the importance of exploring beyond what you see and how even the tiniest of things matter.

PLOT - the plot of the book revolves around two high school students - Theodore Finch and Violet Markey. Both of them have their own grief and brokenness. While Finch is a very deep person who is in love with words and life quotes, Violet loved writing about fun and lifestyle and ran a website with her sister. The book is all about what happens when a broken guy meets a depressed girl trying to end her life and when both of them go out to wander in the city and how do the things change when Violet Markey becomes Theodore Finch's Ultraviolet Remarkey-ble.

Wrap Up - What i really loved about the book is that for time you are reading it, you are literally in another world because everything mentioned in the book is from a very unique perspective. The thoughts and feelings of the characters are related to something or the other, be it Virginia Woolf's quotes or the Jovian-Plutonian gravitational effect. Everything is just so remarkable.

The book is surely a must read!!!
